This directory is intended to be a resource for asylum seekers, refugees, people they know, and people who are helping them.

We’ve tried to keep it simple, and make it easy to use on both desktops, tablets and cheap smartphones.

On the desktop version, there’s a Translate button on the bottom right hand side.

Not every place listed on helpinleeds.com has an office you can visit. If you want to visit a place, check their Opening Times, and phone them before you set off, to see if someone is available to see you.

New for helpinleeds.com 2.0

We have updated the website following feedback from users. Some of the key changes are:

  • Simpler entries, with all the contact information at the top
  • We’ve updated the list of Categories (including adding “Trafficking and gender based violence” and “Volunteering”)
  • The website loads much faster because it is “lighter” and has slightly fewer features that not many people used, for example:
    • Most recent updates,
    • The “print this entry” feature
    • We removed turn-by-turn directions

Missing links

Like all Directories, this one will go out of date on the day it’s published. Please let us know if you spot anything that’s not right by clicking on the Amend this Listing button at the end of each listing.
