Asylum Justice and Release – Help asylum seekers who have been detained to get bail.
British Red Cross – Support destitute asylum seekers to find housing, legal and welfare support.
Chapeltown CAB – provide legal advice and support to asylum seekers and refugees
Children’s Society – support young asylum seekers.
Leeds Asylum Seekers Support Network – Help asylum seekers and refugees to find somewhere to stay, learn English and make friends – and provide information around refugee and asylum issues.
Leeds City of Sanctuary– Help asylum seekers to find a welcome in Leeds, and support schools, faith groups, health services and arts organisations to be welcoming to refugees and other migrants.
Leeds Refugee Forum – Host wide a range of practical support services from One Community Centre in Lincoln Green; run and managed by refugees themselves.
Leeds Hardship Fund – coordinated by Leeds Refugee Forum – which makes cash payments to destitute households over the winter months.
Leeds No Borders – Local asylum activism, and direct support to refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds and abroad: No Borders organise monthly demos, socials, collections for Calais, and support asylum seekers reporting to Home Office.
Leeds Unity Centre – Offer help to people to reporting to the Home Office.
Manuel Bravo – Help people to get legal support with their claims for asylum.
Meeting Point – Provide drop-ins and practical support to asylum seekers and refugees.
Refugee Employment Training Advice Service help people to learn and find work.
Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers– provide drop-ins, practical and mental health support to destitute asylum seekers. A full time mental health worker, is available at the drop in and office.
Refugee Council – provide a range of practical and mental health support to asylum seekers, refugees as well as to unaccompanied children. They also provide resettlement support to Syrians and other refugees.
Solace – provide counselling and psychotherapy to refugees and asylum seekers.
St Vincent de Paul Society – provide drop-in and language support to refugees and asylum seekers.
West Yorkshire Destitute Asylum Network – help organise and coordinate services for destitute people in West Yorkshire. They also organise a Winter Shelter for destitute asylum seekers in Leeds.
